Lots of bargains today :-)

Hello everyone
Today's post its about bargains that I got today from the shops.

Firstly here is a photo of my first bargain that I have received today.
I have signed up to Glamour magazine subscription ( 3 issues for £1 plus free gift) and this is what I have collected from post office. Body butter I gave it to my mum.

Then I went into to town to the bank and also went in to The Body shop as o2 priority moment gave you £5 voucher no min spent. This what I bought it.

The hemp cream and nail file after voucher was £1 and the bag on the left with samples and sweets was free after donation to their Teen Cancer Foundation.

And last set of bargains combined with couponing where those

The Max Factor gift box was free after spending £15 on any products. It contained 3 full size products : Lipfinity, mascara and nail polish. I needed some foundation so I decided is the best wait when they offer those free gifts. Toothpaste was 3 for 2 however I had a coupon £5 off when you spend £20 so on the end I paid £ 15.52 for all of this. Now over to you. Did you had any bargains recently?

A new beginning-first week of a proper budget

Hello everyone

Today I went shopping to Sainsbury's with a plan and a budget in my mind. Here is a photo of my shopping however I will have to pop in  into shop tomorrow as offer on apples starts on Wednesday.

I have spent £28.43 out of my £35 a week budget. It did include a toy for princessa (my daughter). I normally don't buy Tropi*ana juices because of the price however my husband insisted so I did get them. They are very nice.
Today I have decided to have a proper budget which is £220 for food, nappies household and health and beauty. I am not worried about nappies bit as I have still 19 packets in my pile. I hope I can stay within budget so I have some money to put into sealed pot. I forgot to mention that I did use some money off coupons.

Monday thoughts

Hello everyone
I hope you all had a nice weekend. Today is my first post from the Monday toughts series but first a photo from my local park.
Today I was thinking about coming year and how I want to improve my life. I call myself half frugal as I am somewhere in the middle. With harder time to come I will have to cut back on few things. But I am not complaining because I am happy when my saving account is growing even with 50 pence. Then i went on facebook looked on my friends photos from parties and holidays and I got a little bit upset and deppresed its a feeling when you have enough of the life you have. And there it was a photo of a family from 1930s where mother sold their kids as they were very poor. I don't know if that photo was real but it made me realise that important is to have food on the table and roof above your head. Does anyone had same feeling as me?

First day of decluttering, bargain from the store and sealed pot challenge update

Hello everyone

Firstly I wanted to share with you my challenge for 2014 which started on Saturday. I want to have house clutter free and more enjoyable. I don't say that my house is dirty but I am sure I can do wit out some things. Firstly I started from my wardrobe. this is how it looked before:

Firstly I took all of clothes out and placed them on the bed then I've sorted them out.
And this is the result after 30 minutes my wardrobe looked like this:
Much better :-) To be sure that it will stay like this I will be posting photos of the places that I've  de cluttered for 5 consecutive weeks.

Other  think that I want to share is my bargain shop from the Super*rug store.

The hair colour was £0,60 and Wella hair spray 75ml were £0,18 each one of them is for my mum. I love bargains. Did you had any recently? Please comment below It's not for making anyone jealous.

And lastly my sealed pot update.

£6 from buying Sain*bury's gift card as I've saved 5% by topping up from my husband's work website.
So that's all for today. Tomorrow I will be posting my Monday thoughts.

Friday 6 December 2013

Hi everyone

It's Friday and inspired by Kristen from http://www.thefrugalgirl.com/ I have decided that I will be posting every Friday photos of my food waste and how much it cost me to throw it away.

So below are photos of food I wasted since last week

That cost me £1.03 to throw away that food.  The baby jars where half empty but it's my fault that they went to bin as I gave dinner to my daughter too late. As you can keep those sorts of food for only 24 hours I had to throw them away. Tuna wast left over from yesterday and I had enough of it.

I also had some photos of smoothie that it went to the bin but some how I can't transfer them from my phone. That was another £0.48 to the bin.

Grand total was £1.51 that went into trash. Now lets imagine that I actually throw away real money.

So why do I post those sorts of things?

Well I am tired from the way I live and the way I handle our home.

The first step

This is a blog about me, changing my life for better. I am currently 21 and mum to 4 and a half months daughter. I want to change some things about myself and behaviour. I run a house, I am a part time student mother and wife. However I want to improve my character. Currently I can describe myself as a bit lazy housewife who wants to spend whole day on playing with my daughter. A shopaholic who loves bargains and owner of huge stockpile. A wife who only can cook 8 dishes and a person whose house has to many things. And last but not at least food waster ( very bad habit). So here it is my blog about improving the way I live by posting my journey to be clutter, wastage and laziness free.
